I know this is just a dreamscape, but Luna is treating the Moon as if it were not actually there. Instead, what we’re seeing as the “Moon” is a hole in the sky, through which light is streaming through to make it appear like a object is there.
 
This raises an interesting question: Are the objects ponies see in the sky actually real, or are they simply holes in the the fabric of the sky where the celestial light shines through? Do the heavens actually exist above Equestria’s world, or are we seeing just a covering dome like the ancients once believed?

Wars: The Movie? That’s my favorite!
