That look.
THAT LOOK.
It’s the stare of thousands of nights, and that’s putting it in a tiny manner.
It’s the look of a young one lovingly looking at his/her father/mother (or in this case, human.)
It’s like the “Be the good person your dog sees you as” thing.

Still a cute pic either way. The Targets where I live have a system that locks the heels up on the cart if you take them outside the parking lot. I saw some guy trying to steal a cart and flipping out in the middle of an empty parking lot when the wheels locked and it fell over–quite amusing.

Now that I think about it, I recall seeing that system at the Ontario Mills Mall. I go to the mall about once every two years, so that easily slipped my mind. Considering how many people run off with shopping carts ‘round here, it’s not a bad idea.

Uh, no - It’s not just a grocery store. I’ve seen something like MLP: FIM toys in there too and if I remember right, even saw MLP: FIM toys in an Aldi once. It’s not too far-fetched to fictionally imagine a little Pony being available to take home from there.

N, actually Aldi is the only store I can think of which has it. All other stores that I can think of in Pennsylvania (even 20 years ago) just had employees go out and get carts, and they still do.

Well that is the normal system for shopping carts in germany and ALDI is german. So this is not the standard system all around the world? I always learn something new here.

I am in Pennsylvania, though I know some Aldi stores are in Illinois. The coin-lock system is shown in this art; rather than having people go out to get shopping carts, Aldi just has a “To get a cart, Stick a quarter in and you can get it back when you put the cart back” system.

When I first saw this I thought it was something out of Abrr2000’s “birth of Equestria” Comic Series.

Do more stores than Aldi use the shipping cart lock and quarter system?
