What reality you from? :P Debbie Downerverse?
then he fuck up and when he dies the entire griffon kingdom collapses, good job gallus
So basically Grover stays in the past permanently in order for history to stay the same? Wouldn’t that make him his own ancestor? I’m so confused!
It most likely won’t happen, but for other reasons. That said, I’m confident these writers could pull it off if they put their minds to it. Boiling political stuff down for easy accessibility is easier than you’d think, with the only tricky part being potential extrapolations leading to varied interpretations, ie, Starlight’s “equality”.
Sadly, as cool as all of that sounds, it will probably never happen.
As much as I enjoy the show, and as much as the show’s writers try as much as they can to cater to, shall we say, the periphery demographic, the show is still, always was, and always will be intended for little children.
Now, not at all saying children’s shows should dumb things down for the little tykes. But a series of episodes heavily dealing with comprehensive and systemic economic and socio-economic restoration of a dilapidated, fallen kingdom and the resulting cultural and sociological effects such reforms would have on not only the kingdom itself but the neighboring nations might just go over the little ones heads just a tad.
Abd that’s IF it even manages to grab their attention.
Still a cool idea though. Someone should make, like, a fanfic or somethin’.

Gallus: “Seriously, Silver?”
Silverstream: “Ok bad joke- BUT! I do have an idea!”
Gallus: “What is it?”
Silverstream: “Grandpa Gruff essentially runs it right now as a bit of an ambassador of sorts, right?”
Gallus: “Kinda, not really. Why?”
Silverstream: “Being specifically selected to go makes you a bit of a delicate for their land then, right?”
Gallus: “I mean I guess- where are you going with this?”
Silverstream: “Well I’m the cousin of Princess Skystar and know how I said we could become family?.”
Gallus: “Silverstream, could you just- wait…”
THIS PIC
Edited because: Misspelling
I’m pretty sure he was called “King Thorax” in one of the Convocation of Creatures comics, but nowhere else officially.
I was wondering more if isolated races would get more involved in the international community.
Hasn’t he been referred to as king? I can’t for the life of me remember if that’s happened on the show or if it’s only popular fanon.
As in who’s in charge of them? We haven’t really seen anything of the zebras beyond Zecora herself, so there’s not much to speculate from there, but the kirin have Rain Shine.
Klugetown’s probably reverted to whatever system it followed before the Storm King came along – i.e., it probably doesn’t have much of a government beyond whichever crime lord has more push at given moment.
Queen.
@Stotter
I think you’re thinking about a parliamentary monarchy there; constitutional monarchy only means the monarch has rules he/she has to follow, and doesn’t have absolute power. But, such as it happened here, it’s possible to have a constitution and yet the monarch still hold most of actual power.
As for the others, In my headcanon;
He had no territories of his own other than what he conquered/taxed; they’d revert to their former owners.
Probably some local ruler/warlord who was subject to the Storm King.
There wasn’t any unified currency in his domains to begin with.

People said the same thing about Gilda.
