Amethyst Star is there for Fluttershy, actually. And she doesn’t really argue with anyone, just fangirls at her fave pone.

She’s also Fluttershy’s Winter Wrap-up boss. (“I’ve got Fluttershy on my team again! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”) And she’s one of Twilight’s former schoolmates. (“Hey, I’ve known Twi before it was cool.”)

Lyra is Twilight’s friend.
