Not fully true. I don’t do fetishes (asexualfriend), but I like to mull over why some things are considered sexual, such as this.

The best I can come up with to answer your question is that I’ve sort of viewed hypnosis as being able to be interpreted as having a sexual undertone, which is why some people find it arousing. Think about it. Hypnosis involves relaxation, giving control to someone else, and in some cases, pleasure. Also to note, most (stereotypical) inductions of hypnosis involve focus in something very pleasing to look at or something you can easily lose yourself in (i.e., concentric patterns or a shiny, dangling object). In some cases, these things can appear very seductive, and it’s easy to see some situations involving hypnosis as one seducing another. You can easily change these factors around to fit some kind of fantasy. Apparently, there are people who like to be dominant and submissive in these situations. I can easily say that dominant people likely enjoy the control they have over another, and probably also enjoy teasing their partner. Submissive people are a bit harder for me to figure out, but I think they just enjoy being controlled, they enjoy the pleasure and relaxation, and they enjoy giving in.

That, unfortunately, seems to be the problem with Derpibooru. It’s not even like they give them any constructive feedback or anything, they just kind of down vote it.
