you’ve either missed huge chunks of this show including the S6 finale and episodes afterwards with Trixie in them or you’ve missed the point entirely, lad - plus I don’t know if I’d necessarily consider being a social shut-in with no friends as a “perfect life”, maybe to Twilight then it was, but getting on her case because of that really makes you look like a real EqG1 Sunset Shimmer

The show isn’t about teaching friendship. It teaches that if you’re the chosen one, you will have friends and everything will work out in your favor. Twilight was handed life long friends in the first episode on top of her perfect life, everyone forgives and hugs starlight specialmuffin after she looks down in shame. Meanwhile characters like trixie get enormous shit. It’s unfair, that is not an opinion. It’s not an opinion that starlight is the most hated character. If you want an opinion, I also hate her.

It’s absolutely true, no other character is hated as much as starlight. Everything from her powers to the way she was treated is so absurdly unfair, she took the show’s existing problems and made them much more obvious.
