Ok perhaps I missed it. Having only really seen Double Diamonds Tail. TBH I think he was about the only Colt to actually get any screen time.

I just looked through that scene. They grew back their tails. They’re just on average shorter than female tails. And Double Diamond apparently normally had a short tail.
 
It’s easiest to notice on Party Favor, his tail becomes curly/poofy. And is about 2x longer than Double Diamond’s.

Yeah, I was wondering why they didn’t do that to her. From a writing perspective it wouldn’t matter if it was cut down or anything since the Cutie Marks brought back the original manes. I’m guessing it was just so they wouldn’t have to make a new mage for Fluttershy? [I would think they could just re-color one of the manes from one of the towns-ponies, but I’ve never worked in Flash so I dunno what would be involved.]
 
Maybe in-universe they were just waiting to make a big welcome ceremony of it. Maybe while building her house~

Seriously though, this looks awesome. And they all look adorable! Especially Twilight and Rainbow Dash. They look the cutest!
