A lot of shipping honestly comes from liking two characters appearances and/or personalities. They think they could work together. The problem is most people couldn’t write a love story of any actual credible degree if their life depended on it. They rely on “romance makes my character act OOC” to justify it - it’s why people criticize Flashlight (although she’s not acting out of character because Twilight does ramble and fumble when she’s really nervous which is what a crush causes but that’s neither here nor there).

I knew that. I get people do it for entertainment, but my main question is what is so amusing about it? I’m not judging,but it just gets real annoying real fast to me.This fandom practically ships characters for the tiniest things they do. Not to sound negative or mean but I just don’t think Mlp/Equestria girls and Romance mix.

You must be new here. One of the most popular ships in the fandom existed for years before the two ponies appeared in the same episode, let alone on screen together. People make ships because it amuses them, not because it makes sense.

I knew someone was going to throw that in. Not to sound rude, but that’s the stupidest reason to ship somebody. Unless there is some actual chemistry (which we know there never will be) this is one of the worst ships ever in my opinion.

I never got why anybody started shipping these two with flash. Unless there is a solid reason why these ships exist, I think these ships are garbage.
