Well i would say that her actions in “Make new friends but keep Discord”, are a little bit Mischievous and trolling.

Okay, I’m convinced that they both have a lot similar traits and the series had at least one scenario in common, but I guess what I should have said that both overall characteristics contrast one another.
 
For examples; Palutena isn’t exactly the nicest person around and only highly respected by Pit and the Centurion army. Celestia is loved by all Ponies and even other monarchs have great amount of respect for her.
 
Palutena doesn’t take every dangerous situation seriously and will used any opportunity she has to joke around and troll Pit for giggles. Pit himself will join in every now and then. Celestia is very much the opposite and doesn’t mess around when harmony and lives are being disrupted.
 
I honestly can’t say Palutena being a big eater and will eat anything comparable to Celestia having a sweet tooth and favoring a particular pastry. That seems very different.
 
Correct me on this, I can’t see Celestia being “Mischievous” as part of her character. Playful and having fun, yes, but mischief doesn’t seem like her fort.

Palutena’s the goddess of light, who shared her rule with Medusa, the goddess of darkness. When Medusa started to revolt, Palutena banished her to the Underworld.
 
When Medusa made her return, Palutena entrusted Pit to defeat her, and sent him to find the Three Sacred Treasures in order to defeat Medusa.
 
While Palutena is a goddess, and is very wise, intelligent, and mature, she does have a playful and mischievous side.
 
Palutena has also shown several times food is not far from her mind.
 
Celestia is very tall, white pony with golden regal regalia.
 
Celestia is the princess of the sun, who shared her rule with Luna, the princess of the moon. When Luna turned into Nightmare Moon and started to revolt, Celestia banished her to the moon.
 
When Nightmare Moon made her return, Celestia entrusted Twilight Sparkle to defeat her, and sent her to find the Six Elements of Harmony in order to defeat Nightmare Moon.
 
While Celestia is a princess, and is very wise, intelligent, and mature, she does have a playful and mischievous side.
 
Celestia has also shown that she really enjoys cake, and that it may not be unusual for cake to not be far from her mind.

I have seen enough of dragk’s work to know how this is going to end up…
 
But real talk, for those who care to answer; why do so many people compare Celestia and Palutena to have so many similarities when their personalities and actions say otherwises?
