Comparing the two versions, I realized Sunset’s inclusion isn’t the only big change, but Human Twilight individual dialogue as well.
 
The released version has her say simply she feels empty, and she’s not afraid of try‘stop feeling that way’(very vague).
 
But in the version with Sunset, Twilight says something different….she says
 
Human Twilight:”It’s not that I’m ungrateful, or trying to succeed. But there’s something left still missing, something that I need!.
 
Human Twilight is VERY different from Pony Twilight, and this deleted dialogue shows it best. Not only does she have full awareness how lucky she already is in some areas, she shows she has the state of mind to denounce being success driven, and that she’d rather find real happiness then always seek success for herself or someone else’s expectations.
 
I understand why they might cut it, cause it would make Twilight more welcome to the idea of forgetting Everton despite her sheepish personality, but I love what it says about her character. I hope we see more of it in EG4.

Now I’m sad that this stupid cut scene is all anyone cares about.
