That’s a good song.
Yes, it does! Plays during late game dungeons for F.O.E.s and one boss.
Ok. I know I said watch the spoilers but I have to know!
Does the song “End of Raging Winds” (or however they call it in english) play in Nexus?!
The twist regarding Berserker King was pretty cool as well. The Dinogator fight in the postgame can go die in a fire.
Let me guess, Heroic difficulty? Which boss are you stuck on? Are you talking about Blossombeast or the next boss? You might want to do some level grinding before beating the boss.
Yeah. Having trouble with the first boss. Problem is that while Imperial is still as awesome as in EO4, his main move Assault Drive takes away 20 of his 30+ TP. The only way to bypass that is Conversion which raises his TP to 90. Even then his TP goes down fast. Using him, Protector, War Magus, Survivalist, and Zodiac. Trying to switch my Survivalist and Imperial to Landsknecht and Arcanist while using my Farmer to level them up.
Whoops. Sorry about that. Those will be all the spoilers I’ll give you. As for the classes I used, I had a Hero/Pugilist, Landsknecht/Imperial, Sovereign/Harbinger, Survivalist/Zodiac and War Magus/Gunner. Already at Level 130 and I already filled out the entire bestiary (that is to say 100% completion). Now to get conditional drops.
Edited
Thanks for the SPOILERS.
It’s over! I beat the main story. Jormungandr is dead. Two turns. Didn’t put up much of a fight. Abyssal Shrine is next (the post game dungeon). Pray for the poor souls going in there. It’s gonna get brutal! Abandon all hope, ye who enter here!

Narmer’s toast! Not even three days since I bought the game and I’m already near the end of the game! I’m about to fight Iwaoropenelep. About to start the 11th Labyrinth.
Olympia’s not in the game.
As long as Olympia doesn’t show up.
Oh nice I had no idea it was coming out this Tuesday that’s awesome!
And guess who’s back in Etrian Odyssey Nexus! NARMER! Nexus comes out on Tuesday and I’m already scared to fight Narmer. I’m at least grateful they have difficulty levels this time. I heard about how bad Narmer was in 3. Hopefully, he’s not as bad in Nexus.
Ah that’s right the purple ones are bosses thought that was for all FOES my mistake.
Actually no, Purple actually means that they are bosses. FOEs, or at least some kind do appear in the Roguelike spinoff Etrian Mystery Dungeon. But there, they are called DOEs (Dungeon-On Enemies). Never let them reach the top of the dungeon you are in or you will lose a part of your town and have to pay a crapton of en to fix it. Or you can just do some excursions.
Do not shoplift from Lizley (her shop is the same as a Kecleon shop in PMD) or be prepared to face the deadly Red Lions, and they deal 100 fixed damage and have double speed. Yikes!
When it comes to music, it’s all themes from every EO game remixed.

Oh and one last thing I nearly forgot about. Rare Breeds. Basically shiny enemies including FOEs best to watch out for these since they get stronger every round.
What TheMushroomVestal said. To add to it having someone who can use binds on enemies is a big help even if they don’t connect all the time when the do it can be a lifesaver. As for fighting them there are 4 auras to watch for on the map if its red around the FOE icon stay away, Yellow you can fight them but it will take some work as they are tough but you have a fair chance. Purple I believe means you are stronger than they are so you shouldn’t have a lot of problems but still be careful if they crit your healer. Lastly Blue auras you are at a much higher level then the FOEs and should be able to take them out easily. Sorry for all the text but felt that this should be explained a bit.
If you are properly equipped and are a high enough level, then yes. FOEs are just really strong enemies that appear on the map and are best avoided until later. FOEs are not impossible to defeat. All FOEs can be defeated.
Is it possible to defeat an FOE in any of the Etrian Odyssey games?
Eh. It’ll be a couple years before they announce it. Can’t wait to see the Abyssal God in 3D.
Juggernaut is a nightmare on Standard and Expert. On Picnic, he isn’t that bad, and he doesn’t hit that hard on Picnic. It’s on the higher difficulties that he is absolute hell. In the original Heroes of Lagaard, he was named Colossus. 72,000 HP, and to get his conditional drop, you need to bind his legs. You can be very grateful you haven’t gotten to him yet. You have a while to go.
