Also, their Sun just needs to be guided. Celestia just seems to have the power of about 6-10 highly trained unicorns, nowhere does it say that she literally gives the sun power.

Looked like a group of about a dozen unicorns that raised itin the play. That sounds like a good number if their Sun was just an energy sphere in the sky.

Meh, she would just find some other Unicorn to raise the sun or maybe just do it herself.
 
Can’t be to hard if the Unicorn Princess Platinum did it before Celestia came to be.
