Description
The Council of Harmony: A specialized group of Jedi formed by the High Council to oversee the research, development, and understanding of the Force that related to bonds, fellowships, and friendship. Granted a reclusive temple on the planet Equus, the large crystalline structure became a haven for lost souls and members of the Jedi Order seeking the warmth of companionship. In secret, due to the nature of their research, many of those exposed to the Dark Side of the Force as well as any apprehended Dark Jedi were usually sent here in attempt to bring them back to the light.
The Council was composed of six members:
Jedi Master Twilight Sparkle. A natural born prodigy and scholar. Rather than choosing to restrict herself to one of the three specializations chosen once Knighthood was attained, she attempted to learn as much as she could from every branch of the order. In the end, she surprised the masters that had doubted her and became one of the most versatile members seen in the Order’s history, eventually attaining the rank of Master at an absurdly young age.
Jedi Master Rarity. Very recently granted the rank of Master, this young Jedi shined as an ambassador; serving as adviser and intermediary for many different officials in multiple political crises, her knack for the atmosphere of politics and her natural–and somehow, infectious–generosity managed to prevent a number of potentially bloody conflicts. Due to her success and clear understanding of the Force and its relevance to such situations, the High Council saw fit to grant her the elevated title.
Jedi Guardian Rainbow Dash. Ace pilot and weapon master, favoring the saber staff, or double bladed light saber, this Knight had proven herself time and time again as undisputed in combat. Mastering nearly every style and weapon she became recognized as one of the most potent fighters in the order. However, what truly makes her standout is the respect and honor she gives to what she’s learned as well as her loyalty to the Jedi Code. Nominated multiple times for the title of Master, the High Council has shot down most requests due to her more maverick streak.
Jedi Sentinel Applejack. Tough-as-nails and with a near unwavering will, her passion for truth made her near perfect as an Investigator. Hailing from a family of farmers, she was only discovered as a Force sensitive in near her adolescence. Despite this, she had managed to complete the trials and achieve knighthood using her own unique brand of discipline and dedication. Whilst rougher than the High Council would like, her determination and honesty make her an invaluable asset.
Jedi Seer Pinkie Pie. A unique member of the Order. Since her training as an initiate, she was already deeply in-tune with the Force and its whispers. With near limitless energy, this perky Jedi never fails to put a smile on those around her. Shortly before achieving knighthood, the whispers of the Force began manifesting themselves much clearer to her which made the Seer specialization very obvious for her.
Jedi Healer Fluttershy. Shy and reserved, this young knight moved silently through training. Most had thought she would not be able to pass the tests of the Order and would quietly be dismissed. Things took a massive change, however, when her brand of timid kindness had taken the notice of Guardian Rainbow Dash. Taking her in as a Padawan, it was with her help that she was able to pass the trials and achieve knighthood. What most people don’t know is that it was her kindness that led Rainbow Dash to understand and respect her lightsaber and what it means to draw her weapon.

Meta note: Since Hasbro holds the master license to produce Star Wars action figures and toys, this is totally viable. If Transformers is My Little Pony’s sibling franchise then Star Wars is like the friend who’s parent (Lucasfilm Ltd) recently remarried (to Disney). I lost track where this analogy was going.
Queen Faust= Darth Plagueis.
Princess Celestia= Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine.
Princess Luna= Darth Maul.
Princess Cadence= Darth Tyrannus/Count Dooku.
Princess Twilight= Darth Vader.
Sunset Shimmer= Mara Jade.
Spike= Starkiller.
Shining Armour= General Grevious.
Applejack= Obi Wan Kenobi.
Rainbow Dash= Mace Windu.
Rarity= Luminara Unduli.
Fluttershy= Aayla Secura.
Celestia: Twilight, if one is to understand the great mystery, one must study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic, narrow view of friendship. If you wish to become a complete and wise leader, you must embrace a larger view of magic.
Twilight: What have I done?
Celestia: Forfilling your destiny.
Celestia: Because the Harmony Council did not trust you, my young apprentice, I believe you are the only Element Bearer with no knowledge of this plot. When the Element Bearers learn what has transpired here, they will kill us, along with all of Canterlot.
Twilight: I agree. The Bearer’s next move will be against Canterlot.
Celestia: Every single Bearer, including your friends, are now an enemy of Equestria. You understand that, don’t you?.
Twilight I understand, Princess.
Celestia: We must move quickly. The other Bearers are relentless, if they are not all destroyed, it will be civil war without end. First, I want you to go to the Ponyville Castle. We will catch them off balance. Do what must be done, Princess Sparkle. Do not hesitate. Show no mercy. Only then will you be strong enough with the dark side to save Flash Sentry.
Twilight: What about the other Bearers spread across the planet?
Celestia: Their betrayal will be dealt with. After you have killed all the Bearers in the Castle, go to the Crystal Empire. Wipe out Princess Cadence and the other Separatist leaders. Once more, the Sith will rule Equuis and we shall have peace.
In either case, I don’t think I’d trust any of them with an object that can accidentally remove a limb in a fraction of a second.
I understand that, I also play TOR, but Ataru isnt limited to dual wielding in the universe. And she’s the best flyer in all of Equestria, and extremely agile as evident in the Friendship Games short “Pinkie Spy”. And can fly pretty well as a human.
She had the nickname “Rainbow Crash” for a reason. And I said ‘dual-wielding’ because you said ‘Ataru’, which as a player of TOR, I associate with Sentinels.
No she’s not…she’s extremely athletic and mobile. And she’s using a saberstaff, not two separate lightsabers.
RD is too clumsy for dual-wielding.
Yup.
I don’t think that’s something that we’re going to have to worry about though, since it looks like Starlight Glimmer’s return is going to show us what happens when the protagonists win exclusively through superior magic, which should hopefully prevent Twilight from forming a habit of doing so. In Twilight’s defense, though, Starlight was unwilling to listen to compassion or reason and had to be defeated with force.
Didn’t the Council Jedi end up dying in that game?
I don’t feel as though your concern is warranted. Even in the first EQG movie, the whole rainbow magic blast thing was used exclusively to counter powerful magical insanity. This is actually the problem I have with Rainbow Rocks, because it left out that highly-important “aftermath” scene where the protagonists show compassion for the enemy they just defeated and set them on a rehabilitative path. The Dazzlings, rather than receiving this compassion, are booed off the stage and have things thrown at them until they run away, leaving the question of whether or not they’re still connected to the Sirens and how they’re going to fare without them unanswered.
This problem is shared with A Canterlot Wedding and The Crystal Empire. The enemies presented in these feature episodes are simply blown away without a second thought. However, I’m willing to bet that FG is more indicative of the path the movies are going to take than those instances. The show is another matter entirely. The battle with Tirek, while awesome to watch, was kind of problematic because it was a fight of raw power vs raw power that only ended when one of the participants somewhat arbitrarily got a lot more of it. I really hope that’s not a sign of things to come.
First, Dash would have white lightsaber. Second, lightsaber can be whatever single color you wish, depending on the crystal used, so pink is possible - moreso if the crystal is synthetic, as then color depends not on random happenstance, but on the intentions of its creator.
Given Equestria has tons upon tons of gems…
Twilight would probably use her Force powers more than her lightsaber.

More accurately, it would be
Everybody but Rainbow Dash and Applejack - Green blade.
Rainbow Dash - Purple blade.
Applejack - Blue blade.
I think the more significant differences would be in the blade’s styles, such as Pinkie’s being Dual-Phase to capitalize on her spastic behavior.
Pinkie Pie - Pink Lightsaber.
Applejack - Red or Green, for apple colors.
There is no rainbow lightsaber. Plus, I used their coat/skin colors to determine the color of their weapon. Except for Pinkie since there is no pink lightsaber.
Rainbow Dash - Rainbow lightsaber
:|
Rarity - Silver lightsaber.
Rainbow Dash - Blue lightsaber.
Applejack - Orange lightsaber.
Pinkie Pie - Red lightsaber (still on the light side of the Force).
Fluttershy - Yellow lightsaber.
