It makes sense, by default images are safe, but if they aren’t family friendly a different system tag is used. This means the safe tag is an easy way to get to family friendly images.

A fair idea, but some might believe tank fake dying is darker than this because RD would be heartbroken. Certainly seems debatable.

When I was the same age as the target audience for this show, I was watching classic old cartoons like “Peace on Earth”.
 
You know, the one showing humans slaughtering each other to extinction.
 
Kids today aren’t going to be scared by a scene like this.
