I mean… you don’t have to be so upset about it.
You said yourself it may have contributed so why open up as if I had personally exhausted you by touching on the subject?
Opening with “I am getting tired of people blah blah blah” instantly makes me feel like you are berating me rather than just making an additional point or adding information for the sake of edification.
Pro tip: Not a good way to make me listen to what you have to say.
Besides, I never said it was the

I’m getting really tired of people thinking Hasbro’s executive meddling was the sole reason Lauren Faust left. It may have contributed to it, but keep in mind she was constantly flying back and forth between LA and Vancouver to make sure production was going smoothly. She was getting really worn out by this and also wanted to pursue other projects. That’s the more likely reason for her departure, but we’ll probably never know the true reason until years after the show has ended.
I’m quite aware of what was happening with Faust.
However the situation with G3.5 is what interests me.
And it’s virtually impossible to find any info because FiM eclipsed everything, except for maybe G1, because ooo, legacy and stuff. :P
Of Faust? Hasbro refused many of her ideas (some I say I’m glad they did), then started forcing her to implement toy ad elements like that steam train.
Switching Cadence from pegasus to alicorn behind her back broke the camel’s back for her, so she flipped the bird and left.
Dammit!
Thanks anyway. :)
You know pretty much everything I do at this point.
Whatever details I once had I no longer recall.
Can I have an extended version of what happened?
haha It is exactly that. A non-involved experience that is really just cute above all else.
Sickeningly so.
If I recall it was written by Sherri Stoner, the voice of Slappy Squirrel. But Hasbro pretty much destroyed whatever complexities she intended. Kind of like how they eventually drove Faust off.
