From an old-school Harvest Moon fan, no, screw your old-school elitist nonsense. Harvest Moon games have a standard of quality that has never entirely been missed (even if I wonder what they were thinking with Grand Bazaar) and in fact the best game of the series is Animal Parade, for its perfect combination of classic features, improved features, and new features into a masterpiece that has never been matched before or since, and I still look forward to what sort of advancements they’ll continue to make as the series I’ve loved all my life continues forward, as good as it ever was and in many ways better.

I love it already.

This reminds me of one of my favorite game series Harvest Moon. The older ones, the good ones.
