Description
The blue unicorn felt so lost and drained of any hope. She had just been proved a fraud in front of a whole town, ponies practically rejoicing as she had galloped away like the coward she knew she was.
Trixe continued farther up the mountain, unguided and alone. She could go anywhere at this point; the angry, embarrassing memory replaying through her head like a broken movie reel.
It had become extremely dark, the sky mixed with unusual colors of light blues and teals. Trixie light up her horn to help her see slightly as she trotted along the cliff, shuddering as a small pebble lodged into her hoof.
As she was about to dig the annoying rock out, she heard a loud burst that made the cliff she was walking along tremble.
Trixie stumbled for a second, her horn flickering to stay lit, and managed to regain her balance. She turned her head around to see something beautiful.
Meteors, stars, whatever they were, rained down from the sky like graceful angels.
Mesmerized, Trixie forgot about the world around her and was plainly focused on the shooting stars.
A flicker of hope lit up in her heart, and knew that the Great and Powerful Trixie was not going to be put down so easily.
