Many of my favorite authors from Dostoyevsky, Dickens, and more draw from their own religion to create compelling forms of literature and I enjoy them thoroughly.
 
If I thought that the Bible was devoid of literary merit because I don’t believe in it then I would have long since thrown out my Homeric epics and my every piece of fantasy literature along side it.
 
Your original point, obviously, was to try and assume I’m an idiot unaware of scripture and influence and to assume that I’m not as aware of things as you are. You are mistaken.
 
Years ago, due to my interest in studying Kaballistic lore and the like I actually purchased a Hebrew Tanakh and spent several hundreds of dollars on Hebrew to English dictionaries and computer software to better study the bible.
 
I own over 14 versions of the Bible and have read it dozens of times in my life. Get over yourself kid.

Shakespeare was a tropey guy. He drew many things from the bible and folklore.
