@vinylscratch9099
Yeah that why i was asking because there web site list a 3 warranty but not sure what it covers.
Exuse my language but hell no
Should do I mean it does say in the specification on site listing. http://puu.sh/md9Zr.png
dont they include a 3 year warranty?
They said “ok”
Hopefully that’ll help straighten them up regarding public relations at least.
@SeraphimDawn
I told them that i will not buy another inflatable from their comapny
I don’t think he is DIRECTLY affiliated with them, but as the designer and a middle-man for a LOT of people when they want stuff made, I guess they fear his ability to hurt their business if they don’t treat him well perhaps?
I wonder if Chunk has affiliation with those guys?
Well I personally didn’t contact them, I went through the guy that actually had all these ponies designed to be made/sold (chunksta) and he was the one that took care of telling them about the defects. I suspect he has a lot of leverage with them and that’s why my experience was better.
They sent you a replacement? I guess you’re lucky.
Meanwhile vinyl here has just gotten the cold shoulder from these guys for lodging a complaint about their products.
I’ve detailed the problems with my first Fluttershy; the paint peeling like old wall paint, and to top it off, one of the legs had a slight separation from the body that quickly led to the leg nearly coming off; luckily due to their leg design AND the leg being a separate chamber that was an easy fix. The paint though is likely not repairable and that is why they sent me a replacement. The second one has a few minor stains and of course really weak angles in the wings have developed pinhole leaks, but those are ubiquitous with any inflatable and actually far better on this than many others I’ve owned, and is easily repaired. Fingers crossed there won’t be any more problems. The vinyl they use is extremely stretchy and rubbery and thus far has proven unusually durable except in those unavoidable angles on which immense pressure is placed by its very design.
And to answer things, as long as one is careful to not put too much vertical strain on the leg-body attachment or wings, upon experimentation I have discovered that these can very easily support the weight of an adult. Watch out for negative curves in the back but due to the seam design they won’t split all the way down like most will, and small leaks are repairable.
That is what happens when you deal with an unscrupulous Chinese company.
There is also a stain on it and they said it is normal
Kind of a shame… they’re the only ones who are willing to make inflatable ponies.
I just talked to the company and they shut me out and will not talk to me
White is on bothe edges on the seam on mine also i found some discoloration on the leg
Yeah there is a narrow strip of no paint right on the ridge of the seam on mine I think. Might be intentional for some reason, but either way not a great thing.
I found mine when i started inflatating miny rainbow dash and now that you mention it i saw missing paint on the seams too but not all seams
Interesting. Mine had paint issues mostly on the seams of the wings and on the back that peeled like flakes. And Fluttershy under the coat of yellow paint that peeled is actually white vinyl which left unpleasant white blotches; luckily her pink sections are just slightly lighter pink vinyl underneath. Haven’t had issues with the head yet but I imagine with extreme pressure and deflation it would probably damage the paint there too.
There was spots around the eyes and the mane looked a similar. I also noticed that upon cleaning with a damp rag some exta loose paint came off which made some areas lighter blue than rainbow dash really was
I would actually like to see that. I know they have had printing issues. I can post pics of the paint on my first one as well
