Jr. actually had a fairly defined personality in the three films he was in despite not verbally talking. Yes it could be expanded, but the shift from film to fic wasn’t that much considering the later takes place 17 years later. And considering how much he liked humans (crying when he had to leave his adoptive mother, playing around with some as a toddler, rushing into a fight to drive off another kaiju as a teen), I think “Smash” would be one of the last things on the dude’s mind.
 
But yeesh at this point we might as well add a “Drama in the Comments” tag

Except Godzilla Jr. isn’t Canon! in FIM.
 
He’s canon in a fanfic. He’s fanon. He’s an OC. Godzilla Jr. doesn’t talk. We don’t even know what type of personality it has other than “smash”. The author would have had to given him a personality. The only thing that’s UNoriginal about this OC is the fact that it’s supposed to be Godzilla Jr.
 
Plus, I don’t read fanfiction. And would never read crossover fanfiction.

Key word ‘context’. This comes from a well written fanfic about a ‘Canon!’ character with another ‘Canon!’ character. Even though he isn’t in his true form at the moment, he’s still Godzilla junior. Ponification doesn’t turn someone into an OC. The same with turning a pony human, Equestria Girls withstanding.

If it walks like an OC and talks like an OC (because non-ponied Godzilla Jr. would so be in love with Luna), it’s probably an OC.
 
And without knowing the context of the image beforehand (like me), this looks like just another too edge OC.

Funny part is, until very recently Luna and Junior didn’t get along at all in story. The ship was all fan made until last few chapters when Tarb started dropping hints.
 
That and no one’s commissioning 50 pics of a balloon titted Luna having sex with Goji sooooo thankfully I don’t think we’re at Spiders and Magic levels, yet.
