Well. No. Pit doesn’t HAVE to run (but strongly recommended and dodging is certainly plausible if it’s on a flying stage) and it’s certainly not from the music he’s fleeing from. The only way this works as analogy is if Octavia is so massively deadly that a single touch will kill anyone that comes near here and for a social species such as ponies, this dooms her to being avoided like the plague and crushing loneliness.

A better analogy is that Clubberskulls run from her yet she’s as sweet as a Souflee.
