I always found it amusing that Spike, who has claws and teeth capable of cutting through stone, went with the scroll. Because when he holds it like that it kind of looks like a sword.

Like, inside the foot? That would suck more, I guess, but you can take out a pencil pretty easily, since it’s so big and conical. Little shards of glass are jagged and can get stuck.
