Actually… That dress looks like it wouldn’t impede much during a battle. The veil can be, and is currently tossed back, allowing no blockage of sight. The front sleeves [and back sleeves if there are any] are short, allowing her legs freedom of movement. And the main part of her dress is kept short so she won’t trip on it. The longer section of the skirt being a much thinner and lighter material, so that if it is ever grabbed or snagged on something, will quickly and easily tear so she isn’t stuck.
