The artist is Korean, but seaside wind turbine generators don’t look that unique to the country, so the South Korea tag seems a bit unexplained.
Meanwhile, does RD look a bit huge here, assuming correct perspective and real-life turbine height?

Dysprosium and neodymium are used to make strong magnets. They mostly come from China where their mining absolutely devastates huge areas of land. This is why some wind turbines aren’t exactly “green energy” - they use neodymium magnets.

Princess of Science
When the transuranium elements were discovered the nuclear chemists behind their synthesis decided to play several puns and references. First they had neptunium and plutonium after uranium, then they referred to Seaborg’s contemporary formulation of the actinides below lanthanides as inspiration: americium after europium (continents), curium after gadolinium (scientists), berkelium after terbium (towns). Then they found californium, whose upper neighbour’s name merely means “hard to get”. What did they comment?

“Well, since this is chemistry we’ll just stick to its region of discovery, though we do note that settlers of the Pacific coast of the United States found it hard to get to California.”

Oddly, the periodic video doesn’t mention it being used in any sort of clean energy besides being a component in nuclear fuel rods. But since that, and lasers, have been used already, I suppose they didn’t want to repeat themselves.

Is this pic supposed to represent that Rainbow Dash wants to build wind turbines on the Dutch Afsluitdijk as an effort to promote green energy? Because I can get behind best pony’s initiative.
