This is why MLP staff are not allowed to read fan fics. Crazy people would try and get credit/money for them plagiarizing ‘their’ work.

That person on Twitter was claiming she had come up with the episode idea and the character Tree Hugger, and that the MLP writing crew had taken her idea and used it without credit. To “prove” this point, she dug up a bunch of tweets from when Lauren once asked for somebody to help describe a stereotypical “hippie” kind of character back in July of last year. Of course, Lauren was no longer on the MLP team at that point.
