If anyone knew those vines were coming, it would’ve been her and Luna. Either that, or Golden Oak Library’s window confirmed for stronger than Celestia.
I don’t think she gets a head start on everything. If she did, the black vines wouldn’t have scooped her up without anypony hearing anything.

Sure, why not? Maybe Twilight Velvet and Night Light can’t have kids of their own and they and Tia go way back and so she made them a gift. (Yes, Shiny too. One guy can create a force field that covers an entire city from pretty much anything and can keep it intact for days. Are they that strong ’cause of good genes, or is there more to them than that?)
