Trixie was sitting at the train station platform and cried that would lead her to fillydelphia, she hardly felt that the rain falls on her. deep down inside she was glad that it was raining ..
 
For how could she be the Great and Powerful Trixie on Ponys had seen her cry.  
She was thinking of the letter she had received yesterday. Which was safely stored her travel bag. she got fan mail in now and then. who always made Trixie happy. And the the best had always been when fillys had sent them because she knew what pleasure she had given them. but this letter has given her great sorrow.

She was not just trying to be taken seriously again. She wanted to get back at Twilight for ‘humiliating’ her, even though all Twilight did was not let everyone be killed by an Ursa.
 
An Ursa that, mind you, would never have been let loose if Twixie hadn’t been spouting blatant lies and painting them as truth.

Watch. The damn. Episode. Trixie heard some ponies in the audience heckling her (not exactly uncommon in show biz, you’d think she’d be able to handle such a situation professionally if she were such a great person). Trixie chose to call said hecklers out. Trixie chose to ignore her own rules in the ensuing contest that she purposefully set up in order to enact some vindictiveness. Trixie chose to continue running her mouth and making claims she knew she could never back up, even to the point of claiming she could tackle a goddamn kaiju while she was standing within walking distance of said kaiju’s home turf.
 
Was the ensuing carnage ALL her fault? No. But Trixie started the ball rolling. And then she chose to throw a tantrum when someone else had to stop said ball.

Now I KNOW you’re running entirely on headcanon. Trixie CHOSE to call Rarity & co (along with anyone else) up to the stage to prove they could do something she couldn’t do better. Instead of, you know, doing the professional thing and ignoring a harmless heckler.

I don’t hate Trixie. I find her to be a very interesting character. But that doesn’t give her a free pass to just walk away scot-free after her blustering caused considerable problems for everyone.

Spoken like someone who never actually watched Boast Busters and just overrode it with his own headcanon. The Mane 6 treated Trixie badly because she treated them badly. She ran her mouth, and when she was challenged to back it up (which should have happened long before Trixie ever got to Ponyville), she ignored her own rules and focused on humiliating them rather than actually doing better at whatever was put forward.
 
Said bragging also directly led to the Ursa Minor incident, which would have leveled Ponyville had Twilight not been pulling an all-nighter nearby.
 
And again, she CHOSE to hold Twilight saving her life against Twilight, because how dare Twilight actually be able to do so! She CHOSE to not learn from her mistake (despite being damn lucky to have the chance to learn), and promptly turned around and made an even bigger one.
 
Trixie’s current situation is the direct result of her own out-of-control ego. You can whine and rant and namecall all you want, but them’s the breaks.

Despite everything you said, the show is about making friends an learning about friendship, they could have done something for Trixie. I’m not asking for the world to be handed to her on a silver platter.

Trixie chose a lifestyle that’s tough to keep up with at the best of times.
 
Trixie chose to adopt a bragging, bullying stage persona that far overreached her actual abilities.
 
When said act inevitably imploded from Trixie’s inability to back up her big talk, she chose to blame the pony who saved her life.
 
Faced with the consequences of her actions, Trixie chose to run away rather than try to salvage things.
 
When she finally got herself an income again, Trixie chose to blow the savings she accumulated on a petty revenge scheme that snowballed out of control.
 
Not until after Twilight fixed Trixie’s mess for her a second time did Trixie acknowledge she’d been digging her own grave all that time.
