I’d agree with you there. I just wanted to pull one of the most hated persons in history who dabbled in art as a counter. I’ve used other artists like Giacometti and Gauguin for their misogyny and Egon Schiele for his incestuous nature and sexual perversion, but I thought I might go with someone different this time.
 
I’m not a huge fan of Hitler’s work, but I think there was some interesting things going on. Even still, if his work was not held in high regard by experts in the field, then it is because of the pictorial/ visual elements of the work alone, not because of his beliefs or actions outside of his Adolf Hitler’s process.
 
Similarly, i’m not denying that I have an attitude problem, but my contention is that an attitude problem has jack shit to do with the quality of a persons work. Especially if it is a short wip animation using no references or storyboard planning such as this.

I’m pretty sure the critical consensus on Herr Fuhrer’s art is that it really wasn’t all that good. There’s plenty of other good artists who were jerks or worse, though, so your main point is still valid.

Even Hitler himself had some nice art. Just because an artist has a bad attitude, it has very little to do with the art produced.
