To be fair, the bison were given a good deal of respect in their canon appearance, even getting some of the better lines, and donkeys get some modicum of respect…even if only as partial horses. XD
 
Hell, just look at what Carnivore Twilight eats most:burgers and bacon.

It’s not just cattle–it’s cloven hooved animals of all kinds. Sheep, goats, pigs, buffalo, deer (in the comics), and now yaks. It’s as ponies consider them second class citizens. “Noble savages” at best, “serfs” at worst.

You know,people have claimed on occasion that the show treats Griffons unfairly, but I find it interesting that every iteration ~~EVERY ITERATION ~~ of G4 has this MASSIVE, SEETHING, UNENDING HATRED for cattle. There is not one positive portrayal of cattle or cattle-based creatures in any G4 material, not ONE. They’re either idiots (the milking cows), hustlers (Iron Will and the comic amusement park operator), cowardly thieves who deserve death according to landowning ponies (the cattle rustlers), or barbarians, as seen here. I don’t even really mind, I just find it hilarious that absolutely NOONE connected to the show has anything but contempt for cows and bulls. What horrible experience with milk and burgers did you guys have, anyway? XD
