@Rothy and soundtea, no the Avengers cartoon wasn’t cancelled, the upcoming one is set in the same continuity as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

That’s gotta be the dumbest decision ever.

Avengers became dumbed down and eventually cancelled after it’s second season because Loeb thought the plotlines were getting ‘too complicated’.
 
Ultimate Spider-Man is incredibly polarizing due to the standalone nature of the episodes, the overly goofy tone, and the characters in general.
 
The upcoming Avengers cartoon was originally going to be based on the filmverse, but now it’s a direct sequel series to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. It too will have standalone episodes instead of intriguing plots spanning several episodes. Also, no Wasp or Ms. Marvel.

Yeah, seriously. Thor’s powers amount to super strength and near invulerablility, which is natural for Asgardians, while Mjolnir is magically forged. Hulk’s powers are at a genetic level, meaning if you were to get rid of them, he wouldn’t be green and gigantic, now would he?! The same goes for Spider-Man. Maybe. Only if he has mechanical web-shooters. Iron Man’s suit is powered by the Arc Reactor in his chest, if you were to shut it of, he’d be dead within a few minutes from the shrapnel reaching his heart.
