I don’t know who, but someone decided to begin the tag on this picture.
That doesn’t sound like majority vote though.
Someone did it before you? well then You aren’t at fault really.
Well if that is true, then it should be looked into. I know a lot of people are like “who cares, it is a booru” , but some of us take pride in cataloging things correctly for easy searches and reference. If someone is forcing a name instead of it actually being a majority rule, then it is wrong.
I saw someone brave enough to tag the name on, then I decided to spread it!
or some user named Trahzo added the name “palmetto star” to every picture of her currently on derpi.
This isn’t an insult to you, or the artist, but it really depends on the majority. If enough people start calling her a name, and it catches on, then that becomes the fandom name, just like derpy, lyra, bon bon and so forth. It seems that the derpibooru community got tired of her not having a name and took it upon themselves.
Where was the name decided? The artist of this pic prefers to call her Tropical Dream, which I’m also more a fan of than Palmetoo Star.
