I’ll concede that point. But you must admit that past wrongs are almost certainly going to colour most people’s interactions with the…er…wrong-doer, even with forgiveness.
 
Me, personally? If the person who’s wronged me hasn’t been punished or suffered for it, I’d find it hard to forgive them. Especially if they’re the one who threw the metaphorical first punch.

There’s a difference between forgiveness and trust. Letting go of your anger over past wrongs doesn’t mean you can’t take precautions to avoid being wronged in the future.

Now, see, I disagree with that statement. It’s all very well and good to go, “Oh, turn the other cheek.”
 
But when you spend at least a year making people’s lives hell (not to mention turn into a demon and try to brainwash them), don’t expect any forgiveness for a long, long time, if at all. Because I sure as hell would make sure to keep a suspicious eye on Sunset and everything she does.
 
Considering how manipulative she could be, that’s got nothing to do with how ‘strong’ or ‘weak’ you are (whatever that means). That’s just being careful.
