I heard that some Koreans still use Chinese for a few things, since hangul (Korean written alphabet)_ didn’t develop over thousands of years like every other language; it was literally created in the 15th century A.D. by King Sejong the Great and his scholar-nobles.

Apologies if I misunderstand your Engrish with the proceeding sentence: You are saying it’s easier to translate Japanese to Korean and vice versa, yes? I barely recall stuff from my East Asian History class and from my Step-Harmoni saying the sentence structure of both is similar: The subject is first, followed by an action or description or whatever.

their language has a connection with chinese characters(different word/ pronunciation of course)  
but korean doesn’t use an ideogram anymore.japanese simplified their own ideograph,so it didn’t help much

I’m pretty sure this comic actually reads left to right unlike usual Japanese… it makes a lot more sense that way. So in the first panel, Applejack’s imagining herself starting to tell Rarity “she has tra–”(trash, cut off) on her, and imagines Rarity saying ‘What do you mean I’m trash!?” As soon as she says it. Followed by Applejack (thinking) “she has a piece of lint on her neck”, then “that situation might actually happen, I’ll just get it off for her”. Then Rarity freaks out thinking Applejack is coming on to her, trying to kiss her or something and she’s flustered and asking her why she didn’t wait for a better time later that night, thinking she isn’t cleaned up. Applejack says no because she has a “date” with Pinkie later already (not understanding Rarity thinks romance).

No they’re all different. Japanese uses some Chinese letters but the language is totally different, and Korean is all its own thing.
