The simple explanation is that it’s a magic trick that many people have tried to play off as a psychic phenomenon. Set a pen/pencil (regular pencils are preferable due to them having flat edges) onto something that gives them a precarious balance, then lightly blow on it from between mostly shut lips. The trick relies on you being able to breath lightly without opening your mouth too far, and the people around you either not being observant, or being entirely focused on the pencil, rather than you. It’s pretty simple to do, actually. James Randi had people try his Million Dollar Challenge who tried to pass it off as psychic powers. This trick can also be applied to pages of a phone book, if you practice enough times.
That’s not gravity - Earth just sucks.
I was thinking the same thing.
Probably when people chant, air masses move and shift pencils with some delay (if science says that pencils are easily affected by slight changes).
I’ve always hated sharpening pencils. For the last 25 years I’ve been using a 0.5 mm Koh-I-Noor Rapidomatic with HB leads.
um lol i do and tons of artist xD
I think Charlie still works with mechanical pencils; hell, sometimes he’ll even come if you use pens. Or crayons.
(Also, does anyone use wooden pencils anymore?)
i’m foolin ghost are fake as hell
If there’s no such thing as gravity, then we would have been flouting up in the sky and in space.
(I can’t tell if your fooling around here)
no shut up its ghostes, there’s no such thing as gravity
I have one trick, breath at it*.
(*requires some practice)
My too. That’s where I know about this.
