Seconded on the interest factor of well-handled/paced controversy, and frankly I’m hoping this brouhaha further fleshes out the Sparkle clan’s elders. Nighty seems at least lip-service sympathetic, though that hardly means he’d flat-out cross horns with Velvet over this.

The Tastiest
Even if I don’t really like TwiLuna, I’m glad there’s a roadblock that would inevitably be overcome. I was almost considering stopping watching the blog, because I was hoping for some fluffy Royals slice of life with a slight dash of TwiLuna on the side instead of vice versa. It’s not quite that, but it does insert a little spice, and I want to see where this goes.

Come ON! Who’s life is it, Twilight’s or yours, Velvet? Besides, she’s in love with Princess Luna, so when it comes to everything 1. It’s not your choice who twilight loves. 2. You can be proud of your daughter for finding someone she loves, does it matter if i is a mare or stallion? I do love christianity, and therefore homophobic norms, would not exist in Equestria out of what we know, which leads me to:  
3.As long as Twilight’s happy, right? Think of the conflict already within her at this moment, so many things tugging at her.

Really hoping that Silfoe doesn’t go with Twilight Velvet being homophobic. It’d be better if she was worried about what Luna could do to Twilight, since she did once nearly kill her own sister. Or possibly just being upset that she’s been purposefully kept out of the loop on Twilight’s life.
