I believe that the Wombo Combo might represent those crazy gamers, who do things like scream whenever someone does a trickshot in Call of Duty. It was brought back due to the “MLG” trend that makes fun of these gamers and their over-reactions, before it devolved into a hilariously ugly meme trend.
No MLG is 2010-2011 but was brought back in August of 2014 (for reasons that still baffle me because everyone except one guy did nothing to improve or change the joke).
Wombo Combo is indeed an ’08 joke
But I thought “Wombo Combo” is MLG, which is within 2014-2015.
Are we in 2008?
