it is a school, not a hangout. outside of school premises and hours, they can do whatever they want with their electronic devices.

What does her not having a defense against magic have to do with getting shanked by Excalibur? All I want is for her to be both human and not using magic. Besides, she might not be using magic, but what about Grace Hart?
She wants to prohibit electronic devices while on campus? Does that include cell phones? I’m pretty sure it would only take a few videos of her actions to hit youtube, social media pages, or local news in order to expose her actions.
She may or may not have a defense against magic. Which will require getting stabbed by Excalibur… Or maybe Flash could use rock against her. I’d write a fic with that in the climax if I really wanted. First, I’ll have to formulate a premise. XD

That head-in-the-sand attitude goes a long way toward explaining why the school board had to step in here.
But it’s unlikely.
Unless Hart is legit, or has suborned the school board, that would be a sensible thing to do and woud stop the plot cold. So what’ll it be?
On one hand, the school must have plenty of students. On the other, if Twilight, the Dazzlings, and possibly Sunset is any indication none of them are officially a part of CHS.
