Description
Commission for shadowdath. Sincere apologies/mad props to Running with Scissors.
Fluttershy and Rarity become Galloping with Scissor’s honorary “DERPY babes.” This is one of many photos taken in the GWS “treasure vault.”
Everything in this room, save for the concrete, shelves, and sign can be considered treasure in POSTAL 2, if you haven’t played the game… from bottom shelf, left to right:
Sack of money from “Fee of America” - Self Explanatory
Stacks of Money - If you don’t know what this is for, I can’t help you.
Tins of Catnip - Has two uses in game. One, catches cats when you throw it on the ground. Second use, the Postal Dude smokes it and it goes into bullet time mode.Allowing you to take a machete and go all ninja.
Silicon Carbide Armor (SiC) - Best body armor in the game. Normal body armor takes 100 hits, SiC takes 200 hits.
Hunting Rifle and Ammo - The games sniper rifle. It can take out almost anyone in one hit, and even carry through them to whoever’s behind them. Great for Tora Bora and POSTAL difficulties. Speaking of taking shit out…
Double Barreled Sawed off Shotgun - Hoodoggy. This baby will gib anyone, ANYONE that is unlucky enough to be right in front of you. Red Taliban, Army, or SWAT runs up to you? One click, say goodbye to their torso! Great for POSTAL runs BUT TURN DOWN THE CORPSE POPULATION AND THE RAGDOLLS TO ZERO! Please! It will crash your game!
Health Pipes - Your health goes up to 100. But if you use one of these (unless in POSTAL mode) it cranks your health up to 125 for a little bit. Then you have to smoke another later or you’ll take damage. These things are almost mandatory for boss battles in Paradise Lost.
Habib’s Power Station - Whoever this Habib guy is, he is your best friend, and these energy drinks are his gift to you. After a few seconds of using them, you’ll be able to dual wield almost anything. Pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, AND EVEN ROCKET LAUNCHERS At the time of writing, it is only in Paradise Lost.
WMD and ammo - If anything in Postal 2 could be called treasure, this is it: The WMD. Sealed away in the deep recesses of Tora Bora (which you can somehow reach from Arizona if you go in the pipe behind the trailer) the WMD is your BFFUTEOTWAWKI (Best Friends Forever Until The End of the World as we Know it.) Not only does it have a higher blast radius and do more damage, but it will infect a wide area as folks caught on the outskirts of it’s blast radius run out and bump into others, infecting and eventually killing them too. Didn’t have the stones to try and get one in my POSTAL run though.
The WMD is behind TWO MAPS of very hostile Taliban/Al-Qaeda terrorists. You can go through it every day for more WMD ammo, but make sure you pack a lot of heat, and body armor, and health pipes.
And yes, the labels on the Catnip Tin and Habib’s Power Station are separate images. Expect those sometime in the near future. Also, while working on this I learned that I’d make a bad counterfeiter.
