I stopped understanding this game when they actually added zones instead of just renaming them.
Both those cards are banned yo.
The odds of success are not the issue, the mechanism by which it works is.
That’s why Exodia decks pack counters like Solemn Judgment and such. Also, why they usually contain cards like Backup Soldier or Penguin Knight.

Even then the Exodia strategy would be ruined cause one person would flip Morphing Jar or use Card Destruction.
You’re supposed to get all five pieces in your hand, IIRC.
Not that it matters without the head.
In the real world version of the game you usually don’t even want your Exodia parts to be on the field since its effect is a win condition when all five parts are in your hand.
So you probably wouldn’t ever see it on the field even with decks specifically made to utilize Exodia.
You’d think someone would’ve made something like that by now would’nt you?
