Okay, I’ve been getting more familiar with the ships in this game, and holy crap, I now understand the significance of that being an Anaconda O.o
One day… One day I’ll be able to afford one… One day.
Nothing much, though you have to buy your ship back or face going back to the beginner Sidewinder. To quote EVE Online’s players, “Don’t fly what you can’t afford.”
(Says the Commander with an Imperial Courier and a Cobra Mk. III in storage.)

For the first few days I played it, I legitimately thought that’s what it was saying and that that’s what it was called.
Possibly as a homage to Friendship 7, the name of the first American spacecraft to enter Earth orbit.
Also, what happens if you die in this game? Lol, I’ve been staying safe, trading and racking up credits.
funny thing is when I have my volume at 50% when I’m about to warp in the game I always keep thinking the computer is saying that instead of “frame shift drive charging”
I never even realized this she has one of the most powerful spaceship but sucks at combat.
Also rainbow dash Viper when?
And all the while, her actual combat rating is NOVICE: Barely a clue how to actually fly the damn thing and about to have her flank handed to her by any half-decent Cobra pilot…
:D
Incidentally, it was in one of these planetary rings that I found Derpy, laboriously carving up rock with a Laser, haphazardly collecting minerals for an un-fulfilling profit, not quite sure where it all went wrong…
…
In case anyone wonders, Elite:Dangerous, the latest iteration of a game originally released back in the mid-80s, which has a play area of the entire galaxy, 1:1 scale, and has starports named not even after but explicitly “George Lucas”, “Ridley Scott” and “Leonard Nemoy” (though the last one was much, much more recent) allowed fans, during its development, to come up with suggestions for NPC names. Turns out there were a few Bronies involved it seems :)
