That might have worked out if it had happened earlier and actually had time to affect her more than that one occurrence. But I see what you were trying to do.
I was new to writing with that story and may have not thought that through properly but basically the idea of the wings was to make her life harder with ponies being untrustful of her as they would see her as an alicorn and with her having to learn to use them, etc
Thanks for explaining. I have read your story in the meantime and enjoyed it very much. I only noticed some minor spelling mistakes throughout and am a little confused: In which way does the effect of Appletart’s Taint exposure have any impact on her character or the story? Did it have any relevance at all?
Actually a Ponified Mammoth MKII (never actually intended to be Liberty Prime when i came up with it) combined with traits of the thing its named after. As for the warp core, that’s its Spark Reactor.

I am very glad to know you both are enjoying/enjoyed it.
The original FoE is a big thing to live up to and I don’t expect to be anywhere near as good as I know I’m no where near that good to write that well but I try and I hope to add my own unique twists.

It’s not a bad story and I enjoyed reading it. It’s just that the original FoE is a tough act to follow.

Not the best I’ve ever read. Not the worst either, by a long shot.
That makes complete sense now … still has a whole Titan vibe but I’m pretty sure almost all massive robots share such a common vibe.
From what I remember, it’s equal parts Liberty Prime and Mammoth Mk II (And if that last makes you think of an AT-At, that’s intentional.)
Motor Runner is the purple stallion in the suit, the name Motor Runner is a name he uses and goes by, but his real name is Scrapheap though he hasn’t gone by that name in 40 years.
