The Game Boy conversions were highly meritory. Rare is almost always synonym with quality (and, yes, this includes DK games: I just think they’re very good, especially as an exploration to the limits of SNES’s awesome features, but not great).

I have “Killer Instinct,” (which came with my second SNES) but I really suck at “button masher fighters” frankly. (Still, the soundtrack CD that came with it kicks ass. It’s the arcade version’s soundtrack too.)
I prefer fighters with more easier to understand controls like SSB & Punch-Out.

Still, K.I. is a great game, and I’m glad they brought it back recently.

Got to say I think the Rare DKC games need love too though. Don’t care if they’re “overrated” like some say.
(Especially, sense you hardly see any elements/enemies/characters from them in the newer Retro Studios DKC games. I guess ‘cause stuff like “DK Barrel Blast” & “DK Jungle Climber” didn’t do to well.)

In fact, I like the Gameboy DKLand games too actually. (The animations were pretty impressive for Gameboy standards, I say.)

26 years and still the same drama bait XD MD/GEN enthusiast speaking: aren’t we freak’n tired of all that?

BTW: DK series is overrated IMHO. Killer Instinct FTW!!!

My God, it does.

I’d still like to see a few VB games rereleased as “3D Classics” for the 3DS Eshop. Though, it looks like that’s never going to happen.
M2 is doing a good job making 3D versions to old Sega games though.

To my knowledge, the original SFC and PAL SNES controllers are identical except for the labeling. The labeling on the european ones is much bigger, which is why I’m pretty sure the controllers in the pic are euro ones.

Still my favorite console <3

Yeah, the Euro ones, and such had colored buttons like the Japanese ones. I think they even used the Super Famicom logo for the Euro & PAL Super NES systems.

The USA SuperNES controllers just had purple, and blue-grey buttons to look more techno, I guess.

An SNES with Super Famicom controllers. Seems legit.

I think these are PAL SNES controllers (Europe, Australia), not SFC controllers. The labeling is hard to see though.
