oh, i know main game doesn’t require it, but even for anything special, i cant remember needing to do it either.
Nah, pretty sure you can ‘lose’ the yoshi earlier, so only ‘romhacks’ would actually require you to use it to beat the level (because otherwise you’d make the level unwinnable, which good design doesn’t allow unless the whole point is to drive the player to rage)
And I don’t think Yoshi has a shorter jump length than unmounted Mario, so jumping off them like this is purely to either get to somewhere special, like secret exits or whatever, or to prevent a mistake, like missing a jump.
Nope, I never did, but I love yoshi, I;d sooner die than let him die to save me.
I think you missed the joke…
Also how come this guy won’t let them both in since they’re not pets. Oh well that would’ve killed the joke if he did that.
