I find this rather easy to believe. Seeing as Miasma is (obviously) a changeling, she would spend a significant amount of time hiding behind someone else’s face. Therefore, since changeling anatomy and appearance are synonymous with that of insects, it stands to reason that her real face, devoid of deception, would be this horrendous.
