I admit, I wasn’t using the common definition, but the definition used when discussing alien intelligences and Science Fiction. My bad.
This is a person. It is also a human.

Again, a person, but not human.
All humans are people, but not all people need to be human. People is a larger umbrella term for intelligent sapients capable of culture and civilization. Like Humans. Or Turians. Or Ponies.
Princess Celestia doesn’t care about zebras.
Oh, just say humans already.
Ponies are better people than people.
But Ponies are people. They have what most of the real world refers to as “personhood”.
