Is the description trying to imply the Berlin wall physically split Germany and not physically split Western Berlin off from East Germany? Or is it simply trying to turn it into some weird metaphor?
 
in this consens it means the spiritual splitting between west and east germany, kapitalism against comunism, Germany was the point where all atomic weapons were pointed it ( basicly)
