It’s logically impossible to end world hunger. Even more so, preaching about it to many people in a single instance gives a higher probability for the bystander effect to occur, meaning less people are likely to help when others are present.

Anyway, to touch on the world hunger thing. Yes, I believe it’s an issue in which we cannot fix due to natural selection. Although I’m going to get swarmed by the religious bronies, natural selection does play a huge role in the human ways of life. We either kill/hunt to eat, or be killed/hunted and be eaten.

A large portion of our ability to hunt/kill for food relies on our tools. Any way you look at it, humans rely on tools more than any other animal, and it is this fact that makes us the weakest of the larger portion of the food chain, and the strongest. Naturally, our ability to comprehend tool usage and the creation of tools is going to improve our ability to survive by a MASSIVE percent. Because of this, we live without much problems.

However, it also means our population is going to skyrocket, and it’s where we are now in the chapters of human life. We’re an amazing race, yes, but we’re stretched thin, as it were. We have countries that aren’t developed, partially developed, and fully developed. We have countries that do not have the tools we do, and because of this, hunting and acquiring food by any means is suited for smaller populations.

To reference a country that has this problem, we can look at Ethiopia or parts of Africa, where tribes of people are still present. These tribes are much large than what tribes may have looked like in the 1500’s, and other animals are more developed that a few hundred years ago. Hunting with spears and bows is good, but only for a small population due to how much food humans need to eat.

The only long term band-aid for the world hunger problem is breeding more chicken. We have 4 chickens for every human in the world. However, we’ve stretched this breeding to it’s thinnest line. We’re already breeding chickens as fast as we can for our hunger problems.

In conclusion, there are people that will go hungry. It’s sad to think about, yes, but if there was something we could do as a final solution, I’m sure we would’ve already done it.
