also, regarding the investigators, I think we saw from the “mystery on the ponyville express” episode that it wouldn’t really by Pinkie’s best line of work
Now I imagine Pinkie Pie and Zowie Bowie as a mismatched pair of private investigators in a 1980s sitcom.
Did not realize Zowie directed Moon, too. Mind blown.

It works very well, and honestly, I can see Pinkie naming her kids Dweezil and mMon Unit (in honor of Luna!) too.
I see what you mean; it’s just that the extremely pink tone of the album cover made me immediately think of Pinkie
