See, that’s what I’m thinking. They should have made a few more of these with the rest of the ponies as different wrestlers/managers. Dash as the Rock or Cena, Rarity as Goldust or Sensational Sheri (who else could be that fabulous?), Pinkie as Scott “I come from a highly educated university” Steiner, Twi as overpowered Kenny Omega, and Flutterbat as Sting in the rafters.

no no, i was making a joke that ‘axelmania’ did not happen because the wwe basically erased hulk hogan from their history.

During the 2015 Royal Rumble, Curtis Axel was unofficially eliminated by Erick Rowan before he could enter the rumble. He didn’t exactly take it well, and ran with the fact that he was never technically “eliminated” from the rumble (thus holding the all-time record for longest entry participant, which is still going on to this day) and started #Axelmania, while simultaneously becoming a shameless parody of Hulk Hogan. We thought it’d end with the real Hulk Hogan calling him out (thanks to one Snoop Doggy Dogg), but now he’s become one half of “The Megapowers” with Damien Sandow playing the part of Macho Man Randy Savage.
 
It was… kinda stupid at first, but after a while it grew on people and became good fun. Unfortunately, the whole thing seems over with now that Hogan’s been canned from WWE.
