I thought it was the Iron Giant, to be honest.
Goodness, that’s a rather unexpected history.
Nothing too special about my avatar; it is simply a photo I took of one of my prototype hunter-seeker units. The angle and lighting are exquisite, wouldn’t you agree?
It’s actually just a random picture I found on Google Images.
Oh, that’s Deszaras from Transformers Victory. He was the head Decepticon for that series and most notable for his very unusual weakness: he has a soft spot for kids.
His design (and toy) were later modified and reused as the robot Red Geist from the series Brave Hero of Legend Da-Garn.
Thank you for your kindness.
I assure you, it will not go unacknowledged.
Also, just a little curiousity, what vintage giant robot is in your avatar?
I don’t think anyone minds. It’s all in good fun, no?
I have to admit, if I saw RD flying overhead in that contraption, I’d grab the nearest passerby and demand to know if she’s dating anyone.
After I finish screaming in horror at the giant misshapen pony that seems to be stalking the skies, of course.
That is a possibility, but I’d rather gauge the most apparent situation rather than assume.
Then again you are probably correct, but there is no real way to know unless the artist confirms it.
Therefore, I will continue my friendly critisism as long as no one minds.
Unless someone minds.
Then I’ll stop.
And barring that, an eccentric lead designer.
I just figure it’s like the mecha in Keroro Gunsou, where the tech level is Sufficiently Advanced enough that petty concerns like gravity and fluid dynamics can be cheerfully ignored in favor of aesthetic whim.
But that is just my opinion. I simply meant to offer a little constructive criticism.
That instantly brings to my mind this:

@Background Pony #380D
Depending on context, it may also mean “daughter” as in “Kono ko wa watashi no musume” (“This child is my daughter”).
@Rainbow Dash
Inefficient, sure. Awesome? Totally.
It’s a Japanese word for “girl”, for example “cat girl” in Japanese is “neko musume”.
